Recently, the York County Chamber of Commerce asked us for a list of the non-profit organizations we have completed pro-bono work for over the past, say, five years or so.

I am very proud of our community commitment. If any non-profit reading this blog has a need for advertising agency expertise, give us a call.

Today marks the 21st York County Special Olympics Celebrity Golf Classic, and CH&B has been involved with 20 of them.
The tournament, founded by former NFL players George Tarasovic and Eddie Khayat, has been host to a number of big time players, including Pro Football Hall of Famers Johnny Unitas, John Hannah, Lenny Moore, Tommy McDonald, Raymond Berry, Artie Donovan, Chuck Bednarik, Bobby Mitchell and Sam Huff.
In addition to the major star-power, it has thrived because of the good and decent lesser stars who show up year after year … yes, some former NFL players, but also the company executives, sales reps, lawyers, doctors, bakers and candlestick makers who complete the field.
Because of the generosity of many, the tournament has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the benefit of local Special Olympics athletes. We are proud to have played a role in that success over two decades.
